All that’s left of one of the Chicago ‘s top public art attractions this morning is a bare platform. The subject of countless snapshots from countless tourists, the remake of “American Gothic” featuring hulking sculptures of a farmer, his pitchfork and his daughter was dismantled overnight and removed from Pioneer Court to make way for construction work.
