The vocals he does is harsh on the vocal chords, many things go into that kind of vocalizing coming out properly. Humidity, ambient and inner temperatures, drinking enough water. The higher the metal note, the more you have to constrict. Constriction with metal vocals aren’t a good mix, making it almost impossible to replicate his vocals. I’ve been doing vocals, metal and otherwise for a while now and his high notes are still some of the harshest vocals i try to do.
