Gothic love ? The beauty in Darkness

Gothic love is a sub-culture that touches on many things beyond music and fashion, even if these are the aspects most easily identifiable one. It is difficult to pinpoint any ethics or set of philosophy at the gothic scene, as is the gothic love are usually many different things (some are not even interested in music or fashion at all) . My own take on it is that one of the common aspects of the Gothic scene is a desire to escape the daily humdrum and mundane find something a little different and more exciting. This can be through fashion, music, artists / poetic leanings, alternative religions / philosophies and different interests and other topics generally associated with an image a little bohemian. None of these things is universal or compulsory. ‘Beauty in Darkness “is my favorite term for that gothic aesthetic, which may take the form of funeral fashion styles, haunting, strange and dark music, and tastes for anything poets Romantic B-grade horror movies. It is an intellectual, bohemian subculture with a dark, morbid aesthetic that people can take or leave the aspects as they please. Gothic is a lifestyle in the truest sense of the word. What I mean is it not simply a black dress, dying your hair and apply makeup and go to black clubs for an evening of fighting madly to the music. On the contrary, although it is most pleasant byproduct of this, it is much deeper than that. The Gothic novel is the night, as she calls to your soul. Seeing in the dark, the beauty that is missed in the sunlight, when others retire to their beds. The way the moonlight played along the trees, the dark gray fog, the lamentations of animals who sleep away the day. All this plays an important role of lifestyle in general. It is to see beauty in what others are fleeing. Often, people equate the night and darkness in general as “evil”, because a hundred thousand years old stereotypes and stories. For me, it is ethereal and another world, half of our existence, and something to be embraced as equally important to understand our world and our place in it that time of day.
