Fine Prairie Gothic Church Unique Interior St Paul’s Episcopal, Lee’s Summit, MO – 1884 Historic Prairie Gothic Church still in use! – The beauty of our 1884 Original Church, which is still used twice on Sundays. Over the last 125 years many facilities were added to our church to accommodate the growth of our family and the changing of the times. Two things did not change. (2) The beauty of a church financed with scraps of cloth sewed into aprons, rag rugs and quilts. The skills of Ladies Sewing Guild also contributed to practical application of salvaged wood in pleasing designs on the ceilings. (1) It is still a community church, a church of the people.
