Sid and Nancy (also known as Sid and Nancy: Love Kills[1][2]) is a 1986 film directed by Alex Cox. The film materialized during a time of renewed interest in the period of punk rock, heroin addiction and specifically the life of Sid Vicious. It stars Gary Oldman as Vicious and Chloe Webb as his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen. Enjoy!

I had a friend Bob Clemmons (RIP) that lived at the Chelsea at the same time as Sid (after Nancy died) he said they used to cop from the same place a lot. This guy was a lot older and a pretty sincere guy he knew way too much about the New York Punk scene to have read it from a book. This was before wiki and all the info you can get now online. Unfortunately he was a smack addict alcoholic and a hot head. He was shot dead over a minor traffic accident.
I think the shooting part was meant to be one of them having a heroin Nod dream? I don’t know though.
